Transport

Getting students to and from school safely is a top priority, and we provide a school bus service for students.

School bus fee policy:

  • Pick-up points are evaluated based on availability and route timing. Vehicles require a minimum of five students to sign up, and ideally one vehicle is limited to a maximum of five pick-up points
  • Fees are determined according to the distance to and from campus, and may be adjusted according to any route change, i.e. an additional payment or refund may apply
  • Payments must be made in full before the first day of each term
  • Fees 2017

Fees for our not-for-profit bus service are kept to a minimum, however are subject to change as other related costs, such as fuel, increase.

Min. 16,600,000 IDR per semester (subject to petrol pricing)

  • School bus route chaperone

The school is responsible for the rostering of buses and establishing bus routes. Each bus driver is provided with a list of names and addresses of all children rostered to travel on that bus. Each bus has an adult chaperone, or responsible senior student, who acts as a bus monitor. They are responsible for the behaviour on the bus, attending to needs of younger children, and safety procedures.

  • Parents

Parents are given the name and phone number of the driver, the bus license number and make of vehicle, as well as the expected pick up and drop off times. Please notify reception if your child is absent or doesn’t require the bus on any given day.

  • School bus rules

We want to ensure that all students travelling on the school bus are safe and happy. Daily bus reports are generated and any behaviour issues will be reported to the Principal and the Vice-Principal Primary. After two warnings students will not be able to travel in the bus for one week.

To ensure the bus arrives at school on time, students must be ready and waiting at their designated pick up time – the bus will not wait. No unauthorised passengers will be allowed onboard.

Students must conform to the following rules:

    • Listen to and respect the chaperone
    • Wear your safety belt
    • Be kind to each other
    • Hands to yourself
    • Quiet voices so as not to disturb the driver
    • Keep your belongings in your bag until you get to school or home
