A passing comment from friends was what made the Lee family, from Korea, decide to enrol their three children Do Heon Lee, 10, Ju Heon Lee, 6, and Ye Heon Lee, 4, at ACG School Jakarta.
“They told us that their children were developing a good reading habit at ACG without being forced,” Mrs Noh said.
The family were also impressed by the school’s English Language Support programme, which is providing the language foundation they need to progress successfully in their international education.
Their children, who will leave the school with the International Baccalaureate – a globally recognised qualification, are making the most of the activities the school offers – playing soccer, attending sports carnivals and field trips and participating in events like literacy week.
“Parents can sometimes participate in school events and are often invited to watch their children’s school life,” Mrs Noh adds.
She is delighted to see her family flourishing in the school’s open-minded and global environment, welcoming families from myriad cultures from all over the world.
What makes ACG School Jakarta unique though, she says, is its size.
