Secondary Swim Gala 2018

On Wednesday 25 April, our Secondary students participated in a Swimming Gala. It’s an internal competition where students collect points from their house teams. The event began with a House Chant Competition. Each house team was tasked with creating their own chant and being as creative as possible when presenting them. Some of the teams brought water gallons, pom poms and pop-up confetti. After having fun with the chants, the real competition began with Freestyle & Breaststroke Individual Events followed by the Freestyle House Relay and Medley House Relay. All students showed their best effort to win the race. After a quick break, the students were divided into groups to play a team sport game, inner tube water polo and beachball pool volleyball. These games required teamwork and presented a physical challenge. The day ended with an assembly to announce the winners from each competition and the overall winner. Biawak was the house team winner. Congratulations!
