Primary Swimming Carnival 2018

Sun, Fun and be number one! On sunny Wednesday, we held our Primary House Swimming Carnival. Students from Year 1 to 6 were competing against each other for Houses points. The event was separated into two time slots, in the morning Year 1 to 3 and in the afternoon Year 4 to 6. They were not just competing in the swimming pool, students also got to do fun games using their water guns, such as Castle War and Monster Ball. All these fun games help students to build their teamwork and cooperation skills. For the grand event there was Wet The Teacher, where students got a rare chance to wet their teacher with their water guns for a small fee, which is to be donated to a local charity by the Primary Student Council.

We also very grateful to the parents who come along, not only to support their children but also to provide cold drinks and snacks for students and staff. It was a successful event and everybody went home with a smile.

Firstly, I encountered many different individuals who presented different ideas on significant issues that are happening in our country, Indonesia and inspired me in many ways.
