Competing in JSFL 2018

For the past five years ACG School Jakarta has participated in and hosted matches for the Jakarta Schools Football League (JSFL). It’s a football competition founded by The Jakarta Schools Football Association (JSFA) in 1995. Every season more than 1000 matches are played on weekends between January and April with up to 200 teams from around 60 schools competing.

This year we entered 3 teams in the U8 (), U10 (division A) and U12 (division A) division. The players were selected at the beginning of term one and trained every Tuesday and Thursday after school long before the competition began.

No matter how old they are, children always loves to play football. It’s a sport and a game that they can play together with lots of friends. It is also a way for them to learn about how to work together in a group, achieve group goals, learn sportsmanship and how to deal with success and failure. Here at ACG School Jakarta we strive to provide that opportunity and cultivate their interest through the school’s teams.
